Topics include Old School/New School style, Arabic Music and musicality, Embracing Your Mistakes, Creating Your Own Style, and tons of other Performance, Technique and Improvisational stuff. Really, its all so much my head is spinning.

Totally Turkish | Saturday, April 14; 10am-12pm
Turkish Oriental bellydance is fast, furious, and full of spunk. We’ll begin with a powerhouse warm up, saucy isolations, shimmies, hair tosses, spins, turns, footwork, then pull it all together with fun and fast combinations. Bring your zills and be ready for a workout, we’ll be movin’ fast!
Swifti Chifti | Saturday, April 14; 12:30pm-2:30pm
Get your Turkish style on with some fun, upbeat Chiftetelli combos and rhythm breakdown. We’ll be breaking down the Chiftetelli rhythm, and then exploring how to dance to its upbeat style with different props and a bit of structured improvisation. Bring zills (optional for more advanced dancers) and a chiffon veil (some available to borrow, contact Laura beforehand).
Vivacious Veil | Sunday, April 15; 11am-1pm
Expand yourself on stage and express the music with dynamic and dramatic veil transitions. Learn to use accents in the music to mystify your mechanics and make seamless sequences with your veil. Please bring both chiffon and silk 3 yard rectangular veils (some available to borrow, contact Laura beforehand).
Drum Solo Technique & Choreography | Sunday, April 15; 1:30pm-3:30pm
Learn techniques for developing sharp, clean isolations while exploring innovative and unique accents in this award winning drum solo choreography. Ruby will break down the movements in detail and then pull them back together in this fun and energetic drum solo
